Well, what are the chances?  Maybe for the first time in living memory the Dorset Dash looks like being fine, warm and having a (whisper it) slight tail wind…..

I’ve updated the GPX route slightly to match it to the printed one so please download the latest version from the Mapmyride link in the Route section below.

I’m also digging out a vintage – well, 2008 – rear light for the ride as the fashion for every brighter shiners means a headache for those following you, please do the same or at least put your light on a low setting and keep it constant.

For those traveling back by train, I’m assured we can avoid the bus replacement service at Reading West by cycling the short distance from there to Reading station to catch the next train to Oxford.

Some folks are riding there and back, give them a wave if you see them coming towards you with seaweed in their hair.
